The Challenge

Imarda was a leading telematics solution provider for which I led the design effort for 6 months. During that time I was responsible for completely rebranding and redesigning their flagship vehicle tracking product, i360. I also led a full refresh of the company’s website and generated marketing collateral for their sales team.

The Solution

I worked with developers on the team to initiate a redesign of the i360 client interface, including coding the HTML5 and CSS3 front-end. I also created more than 3,000 custom vector icons completely from scratch, as an extension of the brand. I coordinated with digital artists to commission the creation of 3D models of all Imarda’s hardware products, and produced the artwork for all the company’s printed collateral.

I led design and development of the front end of an iPad-optimised web app for the Imarda sales team, which enabled them to discover, in collaboration with a given client, the best solution available and its cost through a slick interactive UI.

The Result

Imarda was able to leverage a significant design advantage in the marketplace. Following a merger with ITHL in 2015, Imarda is now called Coretex.
